At Alertino, accessible from our mobile application, your privacy is one of our top priorities. This Privacy Policy document outlines the types of information we collect, how we use it, and your rights concerning your personal data.

1. Data Collection & Usage

Alertino collects specific personal and device data to provide and optimize asset expiration alert services. Here is what we collect:

  • Phone Number: Collected during sign-up to authenticate your account and securely sign you in via SMS OTP.
  • User ID: A secure, unique Firebase ID generated upon sign-in. It is used to separate and identify your asset entries in our database.
  • Photos & Files: Uploaded images or documents related to your tracked assets. These are stored on secure Cloud Storage and linked directly to your database profile.
  • Device & Usage Data: We collect device identifiers (Device IDs) and diagnostic information to dispatch push notifications (FCM) and analyze application stability.

2. Data Encryption and Storage

All data processed by Alertino is encrypted in transit using industry-standard HTTPS protocols. We rely on the following secure backend architectures:

  • Firebase Authentication & Database: Houses user profiles, asset logs, and metadata.
  • Firebase Storage: Stores visual attachments of assets.
  • Adapty Integration: Securely processes verification for in-app subscription licenses.

3. Third-Party Integrations

We work with trusted services to support app operations:

  • Google Services: Used for authentication (Google Sign-In) and push notifications (Firebase Cloud Messaging).
  • Adapty: Manages subscription parameters, purchases, and restore requests.

4. Account and Data Deletion

In compliance with Apple and Google Play store standards, you maintain absolute control over your personal data. You can delete your account and all associated records at any time:

Option A: In-App Deletion (Recommended)

  • Open the Alertino app and go to Settings.
  • Scroll to the account options and click Delete Account.
  • All your registered assets, photos, and login details will be instantly and permanently removed from our Firebase database and storage.

Option B: Web Request Deletion

If you have uninstalled the application or cannot access it, you can submit an account deletion request by email. Send your request to support@alertino.io indicating the phone number registered with the account. Your data will be deleted within 5 business days.
